Finally the dust has settled and looking back at igfest from here i’m still amazed at the enthusiasm and dedication everyone brought to the fest. Both the fantastic game designers and the, ever willing to play, people of Bristol who really made it what it was.

What did we do at igfest? We ran through the night in our hundreds. We played on city streets, on boats, in parks, in car parks. We sewed down race tracks and cried out like Cuckoos and Wolves. We blasted each other with colour and plucked each other like harps. We ruled the lazer universe and sought lovers and dancers in the crowds. We had new fun with old friends and made new friends with some simple fun. We were all ages races and backgrounds and we were all peers.

The festival will return next year and our development lab iglab will continue to run monthly playtesting sessions in the mean time. So if you've had your appetite wetted come on down to iglab to play some new street games were developing at the moment.
